ORLANDO, Fla. – August 22, 2011
AAA members offered additional savings on wireless services through expanded partnership
“We are pleased to announce our expanded partnership with Sprint to assist AAA members in managing household budgets,” said Gail Acebes, director, AAA Partnership Programs. “At a time when saving money remains a priority for many of our members, AAA is committed to expanding member discounts on everyday purchases.”
AAA members also receive free FindMeSM services which allow any AAA member who is a Sprint subscriber with a newer phone to have their GPS location instantly transmitted to AAA Roadside Assistance when calling for help. AAA FindMe does not require any special downloads or apps. Members can subscribe to AAA FindMe by registering their Sprint mobile phone number and AAA membership number for free at AAA.com/AAAFindMe.
Sprint mobile customers can quickly access AAA Roadside Assistance by simple dialing *AAA (or *222). Members also have access to Sprint’s “Ready Now” program, which helps members learn about their handsets.
Last year, members saved nearly $2 billion by taking advantage of AAA/CAA discounts including those available through the Show Your Card & Save® program.
