Statement by AAA President & CEO Marshall Doney:
AAA was pleased to hear infrastructure mentioned as a priority during the State of the Union address. We know that there is bipartisan support for transportation infrastructure investment and it is time for the government to act.
We need near- and long-term funding solutions to help rebuild transportation in America and prepare for mobility of the future. Technology advancements like connected and automated vehicles can make transportation safer, more efficient and reliable in the future, but we need the infrastructure to support them. All funding options should be on the table.
