WASHINGTON, DC (December 30, 2024) – The AAA Diamond Program adds two new properties to its prestigious Five Diamonds list to close out the year: Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel in Highland, California and Aurelia at Castle Hill in Newport, Rhode Island.
This year, AAA added a total of 9 new Five Diamond hotels and 8 new Five Diamond restaurants. Five Diamond properties embody the very best in hospitality with their luxurious surroundings, superb cuisine, and unparalleled service. AAA also added more than one hundred hotels and restaurants to its distinguished Four Diamonds list this year. Four Diamond properties offer upscale amenities and distinctive fine dining.

Throughout the year, AAA Inspectors visit hotels and restaurants across North America, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica unannounced to objectively conduct inspections. Diamond lists are updated monthly, as AAA Inspectors visit properties throughout the year.
Currently, there are approximately 140 Five Diamond hotels and 60 Five Diamond restaurants, and 1,750 Four Diamond hotels and 500 Four Diamond restaurants.
