  • David Polansky

    Executive Vice President, Association Services

    David Polansky serves as Executive Vice President, Association Services at AAA. In his role at North America’s largest motoring and leisure travel organization, he has oversight of Automotive, Accounting & Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Human Resources, Purchasing, Corporate Services and Strategic Partnerships departments. He has been with the Association since 2016, most recently serving as senior vice president of Association Services. He also serves as a board member for AAA Life.

    Prior to joining AAA, Polansky served as CFO and chief operating officer of Global Operations at The Institute of Internal Auditors, a professional association of 109 affiliates representing the global profession of internal auditing. In 2005, Polansky was CFO for a publicly traded human capital management software provider. His experience also includes the top financial post for Arnold Palmer Golf and similar positions within the hotel and timeshare business.

    Polansky holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Central Florida.

    Kathleen F. Bower

    Senior Vice President, Public Affairs, Brand Strategy & Management

    As senior vice president, Public Affairs, Brand Strategy & Management, Kathleen Bower directs AAA’s public affairs activities for the organization, including government relations, traffic safety policy and programs, association communication, public relations, community relations and international public policy. Bower also serves as an officer on the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety’s Board of Trustees and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Foundation.

    Before coming to AAA, Bower worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant to then-Congressman Bill Nelson. She has a communications background, with a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from the University of Florida, an MBA from George Mason University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University in 2016.

    Paula Twidale

    Senior Vice President, Travel

    Paula Twidale serves as senior vice president of AAA Travel, one of North America’s largest leisure travel agencies. Twidale brings more than 35 years of experience to the nearly 60 million-member organization.

    Twidale provides leadership and strategic direction for all of the association’s travel services. She creates and manages strategic alliances, maximizing relationships with preferred suppliers in an effort to increase member benefits. Additionally, her responsibilities include guiding the development of innovative technology solutions to support AAA clubs in the delivery of differentiated travel products and services to members.

    Twidale most recently served as executive vice president of Collette Vacations, and was the first female board chair of United States Tour Operators Association, a nonprofit professional association that serves as the unified voice of the tour operator industry, protecting consumer interests. In addition, she has been nominated five times as one of the most powerful women in travel by Travel Agent Magazine.

    Twidale holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rhode Island College. Additionally, she has completed several executive education programs (including Strategy & Innovation and Executive Leadership) at Harvard Business Continuing Education and MIT Sloan. In the community, Twidale is an active volunteer of Tourism Cares and supports breast cancer awareness. Previously, she served the Rhode Island Chapter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital and was a board trustee for Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, a non-partisan group that provides research aimed at improving state and local government.

    Vice President, AAA Automotive

    Since 2014, Margaret Pittelkow has served as Vice President of Automotive, overseeing AAA’s roadside assistance, affinity programs and benefits, field operations, driver training programs, and engineering and automotive repair services and partnerships.

    Pittelkow began her association career at AAA Wisconsin in 1990, where she managed the communications center and then became Automotive Services director. She joined AAA, Inc. in 1994 as a regional manager and later progressed to Emergency Road Service (ERS) director. In 2000, she was promoted to ERS network managing director.

    She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and public relations from Regis University in Denver.

    Jason Hosaflook serves as vice president & chief financial officer (CFO) at AAA. He has worked at North America’s largest motoring and leisure travel organization for more than 25 years serving in progressively responsible roles, including Controller.

    As CFO, Hosaflook has direct oversight for all accounting operations, including financial reporting, tax, compliance, payroll, accounting operations, as well as Building Facilities and Procurement. In addition, Hosaflook serves as Assistant Treasurer for the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety and Treasurer for AAA Life Re, Ltd

    Hosaflook holds a Bachelor of Arts including the Post Baccalaureate Program in Accounting from Stetson University and is a licensed C.P.A.

    Vice President, Strategic Partnership Development

    Scott Parker was named Strategic Partnership Development vice president in April 2016. He has 18 years of experience in business development and strategy, most recently with the Walt Disney Co., where he served as Walt Disney Parks & Resorts global business development vice president before assuming the role of Disney corporate alliances operations and planning vice president. Parker earned an MBA and a master’s degree in international studies from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.

    Vice President & General Counsel

    Douglas Kelly serves as Vice President & General Counsel at AAA, North America’s largest motoring and leisure travel organization. He joined the organization, which serves more than 60 million members, in August 2020 bringing more than two decades of legal experience. Kelly provides strategic direction to AAA’s Legal, Corporate Affairs and Insurance Services departments.

    Prior to joining AAA, Kelly served as Senior Vice President & Associate General Counsel at Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation. Previous to that position, he held various legal positions with Marriott International, Inc for nearly six years. He also worked in the Orlando office of the law firm Holland & Knight LLP, specializing in commercial litigation, and served as an adjunct professor of law at Florida A&M’s University College of Law.

    Kelly holds a Juris Doctorate with Honors from the University of Florida College Of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida A&M University. He is an active member of the Florida Bar and a member of the board of directors of the Central Florida chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, where he previously served as the chapter’s president.
