AAA Selects Meg Lane for Newly-Created Role as Chief Brand Officer

Lane will lead efforts to strengthen value and deliver exceptional experiences to AAA’s 65+ million members

ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 11, 2024) – AAA, one of America’s most recognized and trusted brands, welcomes Meg Lane as its new Chief Brand Officer. In this role, Lane will lead a diverse team of strategic partnership, corporate communication, brand, membership, and data analytics professionals committed to elevating the AAA brand to new heights in collaboration with AAA Clubs across the country.

“Meg is an engaging, collaborative leader ready to help take the value of AAA’s membership to the next level,” said President and CEO Gene Boehm. “Her fresh perspective and deep industry experience will be integral as we look to connect with our next generation of members and share AAA’s benefits with even more people.”

Lane was selected from over 100 candidates based on her extensive brand and marketing experience. Most recently, she served as the Vice President, Global Brands and Creative at Travel + Leisure. In this role, she defined their global brand strategy, including building the brand architecture that laid the foundation for the scalability and future growth of the business. She was pivotal in shaping the organization’s identity, bringing its story to life through engaging content that created a cohesive and memorable brand experience.

Previously, Lane held a variety of digital marketing positions at Findsome & Winmore, with clients in higher education, sports, nonprofits, and healthcare. During her time there, she held progressively responsible positions, helping clients elevate and transform their brand identities.

Lane holds a Bachelor of Arts from New England College, as well as certificates in AI in Marketing and Marketing & Analytics from the University of Virginia. She is the recipient of multiple performance awards, most recently winning the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) award for Best Integrated Marketing Communications.
