ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 10, 2024) – AAA, in collaboration with NAPA Autotech, is excited to announce the launch of a new automotive apprenticeship program to support the development of the next generation of automotive repair professionals in the industry. The program, made available to AAA’s Approved Auto Repair facilities, is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience through expert guidance from industry leaders.
“NAPA is excited to expand our partnership with AAA through combined efforts in building their Apprentice Program,” said Scott Kochetta, NAPA Autotech Training Sales & Business Development Director. “Growing technicians from within will be the key to success for our industry’s future and both NAPA and AAA have built a strong path to lead the way.”
Recent research from the Department of Labor highlighted a remarkable 22% increase in active apprentices compared to the previous decade and a notable 9% rise in new apprentices in 2021. This program aspires to tap into this growing trend and foster the talents needed to advance the automotive industry.
